Here is a list of the products I have been using like crazy lately & a mini review of each product!
1. Face Of Australia - Pressed powder's in medium & dark.
My first impression of these 'foa' powders was that I hated them, Im not sure why I just did. I felt as though the shades available were odd as light was darker than shade medium. Never the less I picked up just medium at first after the 2nd use I fell in love because I quickly realised that nothing had ever kept me matte'r! I then went back & picked it up in 'dark' to use as a matte bronzer! I have almost finished my 2nd in medium & my 1st in dark! One compact lasts me roughly 1-2months max! It is now my holy grail face powder! Definitely worth a try if you are someone that sets their cream products with a powder!
2. Revlon Colourstay Foundation Stay Natural Makeup in 02 Buff.
This is the foundation I go to when I want long lasting flawless skin that looks like skin! Great wear, great colour selection, amazing finish! Try it!
3. Essence Sun Club Bronzing Blush in 02 sun glow.
I love this product because it is so versitile! Its a bronzing brush so it can be used as a bronzer, blush or both! Not only that, on lazy day i use the individual colours as eye shadows! The golden yellow shade is great for highlighting the inner corner, the orange is great for warming up the crease & the browns are awesome for on the lid & crease! It is very affordable as essence always is! Great all around product!
4. Bourjois Queen Attitude Volume Mascara in Black.
I wasnt expecting much from this Mascara but I've have been using it non stop for the last 2 weeks! It thickens my lashes just the way I like, doesnt smudge on to my under eye & is so buildable!
5. Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lip Cream in Framboujoise.
I loveee every shade of these however this is the one I have worn most since picking up the collection! When i wear these I get so many compliments! The pigmentation is spot on & the texture is beautiful! The wear is incredible, at least 6 hours of wear with no touch ups! Brilliant! If you would like to see lip swatches of the full range I have an entire blog post dedicated to just that! :)
6. Elf Blush in Mellow Mauve.
I have a trillion & one blushes but this is my go-to, fail safe blush! It gives a beautiful sheen & a gorgeous natural colour!
7. Elf Under Eye Setting powder in Sheer.
This setting powder is perfect for setting your undereye concealer! If you suffer from creasing under the eye this is a must try! It got neglected in the back of my draw for a little while there but I rediscover its awesome-ness & Im not looking back!
8. Elf Brow kit in Ash.
This product is another go-to, fail safe, lazy day product! I mainly only use the cream side but on occassion I apply the powder over top!
9. Hourglass Ambient Lighting powder in Ethereal Light.
I dont need to tell you all how amazing the Ambient Lighting Powders are! But this is my fave! Briliant for a gentle matte highlight (if thats what you are into)! It smoothes over my skin, perfecting everything! Love!
10. Bellá Pierre Loose Eyeshadows in Java, Celebration & Champagne.
I picked these up at the Royal Easter show & fell in love! So beautiful for a quick simple look! All i do is put a bit of matte bronzer through the crease & with a large shader brush pack it on to the lid & lightly blend with no product on the brush, up through the crease a little! So quick & easy, yet so eye catching!
BONUS FAVES!
Skin Care - Freeze Frame Hyper White.
I have been using this morning & night for the past month & it has improved my redness ten fold! I now use less concealer as a result of the amazing effects that this whitening cream has had on my skin! If you suffer from a lot of redness it is definetly worth a try!
Brushes - Gloss 'Eyeshadow Blending', S&S 'Fine Goat Hair Small', Mac '227' & Modelsprefer 'MPP121 Cream Eyeshadow'
These 4 amazing brushes have become my everyday eye brushes! I can create any look with just these 4! I use the gloss brush (mac 127 dupe) for applying colour into the crease & upper crease, i use the art store goat hair as an over all blending brush generally with no product on the hairs! The mac 227 is perfect for packing colour on to the lip & I apply any more detailed work with the modelsprefer cream shadow brush :) perfect brushes!
So thats it for my favorite products of the moment! Catch you next time! xox
